Hello All!

I am new here and I am an amateur photographer looking for some help.

Whenever I take pictures by candlelight (regardless of the camera settings---at least that I can tell), I get this "phantom" flame in my picture. It looks like a reflection, but it isn't reflecting off of anything that I am aware of. Any words of advice or information regarding why this is happening and how I can correct it (besides Photoshop) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Becky

It's a reflection from the inside of a lens element, or a front filter if you have one on. Taking off filters helps to reduce the flare, otherwise you'll have to experiment with distance and angle to try to eliminate it.
