I couldn't find a place where this is posted so I apologize in advance if it is somewhere else already.

- I have iPhotos shared via my iCloud account
- I have an iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone; I like having the same pictures on all of them
- My pictures are taking up ~400GB; it takes up this much space on my iCloud account and on my computers

Is there a way to save pictures to a location and see them on all my devices without taking up so much space? Is the only option I have, if I want to see pictures on all my devices as I do now, to delete unwanted photos? I especially would like to free up space on my MacBook Pro.

Hi. You can always upload your photos to a cloud service like Google Photos to access them from all your devices without having to have them saved in any device.

Is there a way to edit photos using iPhoto when they are saved to a cloud service?
