Hi all,
So I just got an ATV2 - loving it so far but just have a few questions about the best way to achieve a few things.
So I have a low powered PC behind my TV running iTunes with an external hard drive connected which I have put all my music and movies on to stream to the ATV. Before I got ATV, I used my MacBook Pro as my main PC that housed all my media and used homeshare to that PC but figured I could just now sync my iPhone with the PC behind the TV from now on.
Where I'm stuck is my pictures. I transferred all my photos to that external hard drive and there's no organisation at all (used the iPhoto export option). However, when I share these from my Mac to the ATV, it shows events etc. So now I have an issue of my pictures are on my Mac, with the media on the Hard Drive leaving me no one device to sync to.
I was considering just putting my MacBook behind the TV but I don't particularly want to leave this on as it'll screw the battery.
So I guess my question is, is there a Windows alternative to iPhoto that is as good as handling photos, streaming to the ATV in categories, and also that the iPhone will recognise?
Thank you.
