I wonder if anyone can help me...yesterday I went to load some photos into my computer from my digital camera, and iPhoto said it couldn't find the library. I realised that the entire Pictures folder was missing, along with everything inside it, including my iPhoto Library and all its contents (2 years' worth of photos). I eventually made the Pictures folder reappear by resetting the "display of folders' content" in OnyX, but it's empty now, and no matter what I do I can't find any of the old content. I've used Spotlight to search for all .jpgs and .gifs and everything else I could think of. I have no idea what happened, I haven't done anything I'm aware of to cause this.

Any ideas??
