Pictures not showing up in Finder

(I have Snow Leopard,BTW)
Everytime I use Photoshop,or even open it up,the photos stop showing up in my Finder & when I try to open a photo in PhotoShop the pics don't show either (like the thumbnails/previews of the pics don't show up). I don't know why its doing that & I can't seem to find a reason why its doing that. & If I keep PhotoShop closed/if I didn't open it,the photos will show their thumbnails. :confused:
Does anyone know a fix for this or something?
