Pictures unable to edit

Sometimes I take pictures and I cannot edit them, there's just no edit button, just share or delete.

Anyone having this issue?

The iOS 8 Beta Release Notes say:
Certain types of media, such as those synced from iTunes, are not editable in the Photos app.

Well first of all that sucks but most importantly these are pictures that I've taken on my phone a few days ago

There's a bug where it'll let you edit and crop, but when you save it, it doesn't really unless you open the edited pic in a 3rd party app like Adobe PS and save it in there. Really dumb.

I have this issue.
Any pictures I have saved after updating to iOS 8 beta can be edited, but any photos that were cropped or auto-enhanced while I had iOS 7 can't be.
Zooming into a photo that was cropped before iOS 8 also has bugs, and shows the uncropped version in the area of the crop, cutting it off when trying to view it.
