Got an old friend from school who's a pilot now. Don't think his been flying while drunk. But he has been while being quite hung over from the night before - which, imo, is almost just as bad...

Defense attorneys said the pilots should not be convicted because they were not really operating the plane at the time in question. They said it was under control of the tug truck driver towing it to the runway.

Did these idiot attorneys expect the tug to pull the plane to its destination? The reason the pilots didn't actually fly drunk was because, fortunately, they got caught before they had the chance!
