Ping artist sign up?

So...if you're an artist on iTunes how do you link your Ping account to your music?

I'm guessing artist would have to contact iTunes for that.

Just wondering how artists get Ping enabled? I manage an artist with music in the itunes store and would like to setup his account in Ping.

I understand that you want to enable Ping and like to setup your account in Ping. I realize the importance of this issue and I am more than happy to assist you with this issue.

Jarek, in all Tunes Store accounts have Ping turned off; you must choose to turn on the service to begin using Ping. Follow the steps to create a Ping account:

When you sign in to your account, under your name their will be a box "PING new". Click get started tab. Then click on turn on Ping.

Fill all the necessary information o create your profile. Then chose option of "Music I Like". Check for your Privacy setting. After doing all the steps your account will be created.

Follow this steps to edit your Ping profile: After you create a Ping account, you may wish to edit your profile by adding a new profile picture or changing your privacy settings. To edit your profile in Ping, click Edit Profile in your My Profile section. You can change your profile settings at any time.

You are a valued member of the Apple family. Your experience with the iTunes Store is of utmost importance to us.

"Thank you for your interest in iTunes Ping. As an iTunes Store Content Partner, you can contact your label representative to discuss this opportunity. If you do not know who your label representative is, please log into iTunes Connect and select the "Contact Us" link on the lower right hand side of the page. The iTunes Connect address is:

Does anyone else just get a login page with nothing else on it if they click on that link? If Apple want Ping to work they better start making it easy for the artists to sign up!
