Hey, I just got my MacBook Pro yesterday afternoon. I bought 1, opened in store but it was scratched out of the box, so they exchanged and gave me this guy. It looked alright in store after wiping it down. Today I noticed there is a tiny pinhole like chip in the paint on the top lid. At first glance and depending on the lighting, you wouldn't even notice it. The problem is, I noticed it and I'm pretty ocd about scratches and chips in the paint. I wasn't planning on moving this thing until I got my Invisible Shield applied. I know it will probably get scratched eventually but it bothers me that the aluminum lid came chipped right out of the box.
I know there are some who don't really mind these kind of things but there are others like me that just feel kinda bad about it.
After I take it to Apple tomorrow and show them this, can I ask for an exchange?
