Pinhole on imac screen

Does anyone happen to know what that pinhole on the bottom left corner of the imac screen is for?

Sorry to spoil the fun, but it is a microphone.

The best way to test this would be to try to record something. Sticking a paper clip in it won't help much, as fun as it may be.

size doesn't matter

as small as it is...this microphone is actualy very good.

try to activate "speech" in your system prefs and make the test !

so hold your horses and do NOT stick a needle in the hole
