Pink Column down center of iPhone5 screen

Hey all,I just bought a 6 month old iPhone 5, and I've noticed this evening that there is some pink tinting in a rectangle of the screen.

It stops about 5mm from each edge

Anyone know if this is a common fault? Or what might be wrong?

Additionally as I bought this second hand anyone know if Apple will
Cover under warranty?

Post a picture. Sounds like a hardware issue that they will likely warranty.

You can then call AppleCare or go into your local Apple Store and get the phone replaced if it turns out to be an issue with the hardware.

I tried to do that and failed as it wouldn't show easily enough and would waste your time!

It's in warranty so have booked a genius appointment - from my research they have no issue with second hand devices as long as they are in warranty

i dont think you will have any issues with them warrantying it.

Replacement phone. Sorted. Love Apple!

He did say within a month they would have done an in store screen replacement.
