Pink lines on monitor

I have a problem where i have a pink vertical line that appears randomly on the second monitor after waking. The line will disapear after a little bit of time.

I first thought it was my flashed 6870. I just replaced it with a 670gtx and still have the problem.

I have reset the PRAM, ran check disk and repaired permissions.

Do you think I will need to install fresh?

Are you using any adapters on the back of the card? It may be worth checking to see if any of those need adjusting or have a fault.

Do some elimination... does the issue move with the monitor (or a particular adaptor) if you swap them?
