iPod touch Pink tint on new ipod touch?

I just got a new ipod touch 4th gen to replace my ipod photo. The right edge of the screen appears to be pink all the way down, from top to bottom. Reminds me of some of the ipad 3's i've seen in the other forum. Is this common?

Also, I got this new ipod touch from using my credit card points. I'm guessing I should just take it back to Apple and have them swap me for a new one?

Yes, that's what I would do if it didn't disappear on its own after a few days.
