The Pinlo Slice 3 isn't going to wow you with tons of bells and whistles its a bare bones case that is made to basically disappear once snapped onto your iPhone 5. Its a one piece snap design that literally weighs nothing when held in the hand and is freakishly thin. The feel of the plastic used on the case has a nice smooth matte feel to it that thankfully doesn't attract fingerprints as well.

To say this case is thin is truly an extreme understatement. I personally have never used a case that fits this well and manages to stay this thin ever. Its really something that needs to be experienced in person to truly understand and appreciate.

Like I said before this case all but disappears when snapped onto your iPhone 5. Not only is it thin but thankfully Pinlo has perfected the fitment of this case so there are no jagged edges or ill fitting corners anywhere you look. On the bottom of the case you have one large cutout for your dock, speakers and headphone jack. While theres nothing wrong with the one piece cutout i generally prefer an individual cutout for each as it gives the case a more finished look.

Up top you have what I can say is a perfect cutout and fit around the corners of the case. This is how all snap cases should look in my opinion. The case has a full wrap around look with just the single opening for the lock button and thats it. I couldn't have asked for anything more and the look is just stunning.

Around the side of the case you have two individual cutouts for your volume buttons and mute switch as well. The fitment of each cutout is right on point and since the case is so dang thin you have an almost identical feel to accessing the buttons as you would without a case at all.

The camera cutout on the case unfortunately is a little bit bigger than I would have hoped for when compared to the very tight and precise cutouts around the rest of the case. I understand they were more than likely trying to avoid the dreaded bounce flash problem that a tighter cutout could give off but they could have made the dimensions of this area a little smaller just to go along with the rest of the look of the case. You can really see how thin this case is when looking at the cutout around the camera though it really is mind blowing once you see it in person.

Ultimately if your looking for one of the top two or three thinnest cases out there then this is your best bet. Yes there might be a couple other cases out there that are thinner by a fraction of a millimeter but none of them fit as well as the Pinlo Slice 3 or has a more polished and finished look as this case. No its not going to give you anything but some basic scratch protection for the back of the iPhone 5 and some minimal side scratch protection but for someone needing a minimal case that all but disappears when on the iPhone this is your best bet by a large margin.
