Hey everyone,

My fiancé is obsessed with the app/website called Pinterest but she can't seem to get an invite. Is anybody here a member or know a member that can send us a couple invites or tell me how to get one or two? I'll supply email addresses via PM so they're not all over the web.

My wife discovered it last week, and has already made a dessert and a fantastic pan of enchiladas from recipes she picked up while reading it. She NEVER cooks. For that alone, I'm impressed (and grateful).

So do you have to get invited? How does one do that?

Just checked, and apparently she got one from a coworker this morning... Thank you for the offer though! The site looks like it is geared more towards the "wife" set but I'm all for it if she wants to decorate our house and make us delicious food. lol :)
 
You know, a male oriented Pintrest could be a success! Scantily clad women, sweet home theatre sets, awesome desk setups, cars, video games, outdoor activities, and sports! (Probably more, too.)

My wife discovered Pintrest about a month or so ago. I call it "craft porn" and tease her about it as it truly has become quite an obsession. :D

But, like someone said, I'm in favor of something that helps her organize ideas, provides motivation, and helps save money.

My wife just found this also. Still trying to figure out what it is all about and so is she. Pretty interesting idea though!

Saving money, who isn't about saving money!

My wife and I are also desperate to get an invite...though it would probably not be in our best interest ;) it already steals too much of our time. But, in a good way. Anyone with an invite I would love a PM. Thanks all.

looks like you can't get pm's yet. send an email to my username @gmail with the emails you want invited. I'll take care of it.
 
I had heard of the site somewhere, probably twitter, and never caught on. Thanks for the invite Abyssgh0st, I'm now slowly showing interest. I think their iPhone app is total crap to be honest but that doesn't really seem to prevent me from browsing. I just kind of said I liked everything so I could see what it had to offer. I like the DIY projects, I feel crafty (even though I'm not) and I always want to try things (even though I fail) so the site is neat for that alone. Lots of drool-worthy ideas for home decor and of course food, food is good. :D

As for www.mentrest.com, aside from the women, I like all that junk. Actually, the first thing I pinned on my pinterest was a triumph motorcycle. :D
