Pinyin Keyboard?

I'm looking for a keyboard that types in pinyin (the roman letters, not the chinese characters). Jailbroken or not, i cannot find a keyboard that does this.
Anyone knows any way to find one, or even to build one? Like holding on i would give you ǐ ī í ì ... so you can type in pinyin....

for what device and firmware. very few keyboard layouts came out anything after 3.0 because of landscape/portrait mode
