Does anybody know if the iPhone 5 supports bluetooth streaming music with this radio without having to be connected via cable?

Pioneer says no:

http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/25/299/35829/SPH-DA100/page.html, scroll down to 'How to connect your smartphone,' select 'iPhone 5' and then hit 'lookup.'

There's an 'X' under 'Bluetooth Audio Streaming (A2DP).'

But Halfords says yes:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/..._productId_875559_langId_-1_categoryId_265857

'FEATURES & BENEFITS OF THE PIONEER SPH-DA100

The iPhone 5 can also be used for Bluetooth hands free calling and music streaming'

I'd be inclined to believe the manufacturer, but would be grateful if anyone who has it can confirm.

Thanks :)

I cannot speak for that radio, but my AVIC-Z140 has it. I can use the phone screen to make calls (although I usually just use Siri to make a call) or on my audio sources list I can select Bluetooth and it will automatically be waiting for my iPhone 5 (and my iPhone 4 before it) to start playing. I'd look at maybe some Amazon reviews, or maybe even a local store would have one (Wal-Marts around me carry a few radios from different manufacturers, including Pioneer).
