Pioneer DVR-107 into Mac Pro?

Hi All

I'm moving from a G3 to a Mac Pro. I installed a Pioneer DVR-107 into the G3 a year or so ago. Would this drive work as a second optical drive in the MacPro tower? It's it fairly easy to install a second optical drive?
