Pioneer Rw-dvd 103 Not Working

My dvd drive pops out all dvd's not cd's just dvd's. Interesting, because you stick the cd in the same slot. It won't load the dvd or play. If I put one in, it just pops them right out. Is there anything I can do besides raplacing the drive?
