Okay, my friend has a problem:
he has a linksys router to connecting his macbook to pipex broadband - has worked fine for months. He gets back from a week away and it won't connect to the internet (he left the router on whilst away but had take his macbook with him). I've spent a couple of hours on the phone with the semi-helpful pipex people and they can see the modem connected in but it fails to authenticate.
I're double check password and username, rebooted modem, returned to factory default settings - everything I can think of.
Pipex don't support the linksys so they are not much help on that.
any ideas what else I could try ??/ (oh yeah, I borrowed another linksys moden and still no joy)
driving me crazy !!!
