I personally would like to see more things like this for the iPod.
Maybe a utility to convert iCal items so that Windows users can gain access to information. It would only help the iPod remain a reason to buy over the competition.

I am not sure that i would go as far you did. I think that a ready reference of information that has long term "value"; restaurants, game days, wi-fi spots, and the such have value. Yes, the iPod can "import" iCal calendars, but I am not sure that Window users have that capability. It would add added function to the iPod.
i don't depend on the stuff, it's just cool because people go "woah!" that's so cool!

when is apple going to allow 3rd party people to make real games on the ipod? maybe allow Flash games? that would be simple enough.
