Hey there! I've noticed my Pismo can get quite hot to touch after use for 30 minutes or so just playing old games in OS 9. The fan never seems to kick on. (I tested the fan out and it does work.)

I tried GuagePRO in OS9 and it reports that the CPU is a chill 2 degrees (?!?) and never changes, even after I can feel it heating up. On the OSX side, I installed Temperature Monitor and it simply says "No accessible sensors found."

Anyone have any idea where the thermostat is on a Pismo board/daughtercard? I would assume there's a failure here somewhere.

Thanks!

the only software accessible temperature sensor in a Pismo is the one contained within the CPU itself which is on this generation of CPU often not calibrated properly and can not really be relied upon

a Pismo will get quite warm before kicking the fan on so id not worry about it
