Hey I'm new to this place... but it sure looks like a good place to find solid info and contribute some opinions/insights. First off, though, I need some help. I can't seem to find any information on how I might be able to update/reinstall the firmware/software for my Apple Internal Modem.
I have a 2000 "pismo" PowerBook G3/500MHz that has recently started kicking me offline when connected to my dial-up ISP. My other home computers (a Dell Inspiron 5100 and 12" Al PowerBook) don't have this problem, using a different phone cable and line does not solve the problem, and my ISP has decided that it seems to be an issue with the modem itself. I'm beginning to agree. Any ideas what I might do to fix the problem? Is this something others have had issue with? Thanks.
