Hello all,

I'm sitting here late night trying to render some large audio files in Max/MSP and it's becoming painfully clear that I need more RAM. I did some searches and found some ridiculously low prices... $81 for a 512mb stick (www.18004memory.com). This is for my Firewire Powerbook.
My question is whether RAM this cheap will actually last, or is it flimsy crap that will cause instabilities? Do you guys have any suggestions for where to buy reasonably priced RAM that will hold up?
