That apple will be realeasing a brand new iPhone and a brand new iPod touch (which will have a bigger screen) and a new net book this summer. :D

Yeah really. You can't just say some vigilante website with no references or proof. There has been dozens of these accusations throughout the last 3 months.

No netbook in January

Still no netbook

If you're too lazy to click the links, read this quote from earlier today:

"When I'm looking at what's sold in the Netbook market, I see cramped keyboards, junky hardware, very small screens, bad software. Not a consumer experience that we would put the Mac brand on. As it exists today, we're not interested in it nor would it be something customers would be interested in the long term."

-Tim Cook

Also, what makes you think some news station would be more inclined to know about Apple's products, when Apple didn't release anything at their own meeting today?

I think there will be a new iPhone, but this does not confirm it by any means.

Well you have a point there. But I do recall this site being known as "Macrumors" not mactruth. ;)

Actually, if you pay attention, he says "as it exists today, we're not interested in it" - which is namely cramped keyboards, junky hardware, very small screens, bad software. Not saying they will come out with a netbook/tablet, just that if they do it will not be like what is on the market today.

don't forget that cooks also said that if apple finds a product that will be able to deliver the netbook that apple will prusue it. ;)
