Hello!
They're the same price. Which one is better?
Not sure which phone to get. Looking to upgrade from my 12 mini. I mostly care about the battery life tbh.

If your main concern is battery life, the Pixel 9 is the better choice (4700 mAh battery vs. the iPhone 14's 3279 mAh battery). It'll also get software updates for longer, since Google claims they'll keep updating the Pixel 9 until at least 2031.

The main downsides are that the performance is worse thanks to the Tensor chip, and Pixels are prone to having weird issues. 🤷‍♂️

Okay, so performance is worse?

A brand-new Pixel 9 scores worse in benchmarks than a four-year-old iPhone 12.

If you don't do anything demanding on your phone, then it's not a big deal, but if you play games (or if you plan to hang on to your phone for more than a few years), it can become an issue.
This makes me think… Yeah, I'd like to hang on to my phone more than a few years, but the thing is, I replaced a battery of my 12 mini and I still have to charge it like twice a day. The battery drops like crazy when I go to a walk for couple of hours. I don't want to worry about the battery life. I just want to use my phone whole day. Those battery life tests are pretty useless on YouTube, so I don't know. With Apple Music on +5G, WhatsApp, I can't get like 6h of battery life from it

You could just get a Magsafe battery pack that magnetically sticks to the back of your phone; they just stick on there and you can forget about it for the rest of the day, and just charge the battery pack at night when you charge your phone. Then it doesn't really matter what kind of battery your phone has, only that it supports MagSafe.

I have it and I use it daily :D
