I have only heard this 'feature' reported wrt Safari, but I would be grateful for any suggestions on another site, so I wondered if anyone else has seen a similar problem with Yesemite.
The problem arises when a foreground window is drawn/redrawn at this point another window (not necessarily the same application) becomes pixelated. Pixelation appears bound to one window (another window manager problem?). The first image shows the effect (the corrupted window is a second Firefox window). After selecting the background window the corrupted window is redrawn - this time without corrupting the previous foreground window.
The problem never occurred with any previous version of OS X.
