iPad Pixelated YouTube on iPad Air 2

I was hoping that pixelated YouTube to go away when I upgraded to Air 2 from iPad 3, but it still happens. I've got 50mbs internet with AC router and none of other wireless devices have this problem. Other than that, I'm glad that I've upgraded.

there is problem within youtube app, try to change video quality not to auto.

Try using the YouPlayer app. It allows you to change the resolution, and the videos are add free. Worth trying to see if the videos play in better quality.

Been using it on my iPad and iPhone for a while mainly due to the annoying YouTube ads.

It looks like my air 2 chokes with 1080p but 720p seems fine. Is it the usual case for most people?

Ad free? Nope. Ads still show up in the app, sorry.
