Pixelmator gone from app store?

I can't seem to find it on the app store + the links from the apple site that launch the app store give an error, request not fulfilled or something like that

As we are on the subject of Pixelmator - can anyone suggest any good programs for easily creating web graphics. I've always used fireworks but would like to try other programs to move away from adobe and their pricing. PS is overkill for me, i like simple programs that have pre-set shapes so i can easily draw buttons and menu bars with gradients and drop shadows, or star images for reviews and even lasso tools to cut out images. Thats about as much as i do

Any advice much appreciated!

There's a post on their blog about it. Version 1.6.6, when downloaded from the Mac App Store, would crash immediately on launch. Until 1.6.7 is approved from Apple, they removed it completely from the store. Unfortunately, I was one of the few that suffered this issue, but luckily there was an easy fix.
