Hi everyone,

long time lurker, recently joined. Question about my 2010 21.5" iMac video card.

When I run 4 or more filters on Pixelmator on my base 21.5" 2010 iMac on a downloaded image, the image pixelates and this bleeds over into Safari, Pixelmator etc. I am wondering since my machine is getting up there in years, is this the video card?

Here's the sample image (ran Vintage > Gloom, Fog, Light Leak filters)

I quit and restarted Pixelmator and the tool menus are pixelated.

I've attached the image post pixelation and my 2010 iMac video card info.

I restarted the mac and tried again > got the same pixelated result after running four filters, this seems to be exclusive to Pixelmator which I've been upgrading for the past 3 years. I am running Mavericks and have 8gb of ram installed.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thank you very much.

What os are you running 10.10 Yosemite? Pixelmator has issues in Yosemite, an update should be out in days.
