Universal Pixelmator Photo moving to a subscription-based pricing model

Noticed an update for Pixelmator Photo that references a shift to a subscription-based pricing model. Sad to see, considering Pixelmator's apps have always been paid up-front.

Another app bites the dust ... now dead to me. I am sick to death of these money-grubbing developers who think they are entitled to keep their hands in my wallet just because they think that they can get away with it. Not happening here.

It's "only" $50 for a "life time" subscription... until they decide to update to a "new" version... kind of like gas prices climbing to over $5/gallon... then the masses are excited when they fall back to $4... when they were $2.50 just two years ago... nothing more than money-grubbing mind games.

Get your hand out of my wallet... and get your @$$ off of my lawn.
