I only have the ancient version of Pixelmator ("Classic") and need to export a file that I made with vectors into the SVG format. But, there being no option in my version, turning to online tools I am having trouble getting the way I want it.

I understand that the "Pro" version offers this feature, but after I found out that Apple acquired the software (I would otherwise be requesting this on their forums, had they not shut them down) I am unsure what path to pursue ?

If anybody here uses Pixelmator Pro and wouldn't mind exporting my file in SVG that would be grand.

Many thanks in advance.

one option could be to copy the vectors in Pixelmator Classic and paste them into e.g. Linearity Curve , Inkscape , or MacSVG and export from there to SVG.

another is to print from PC into a PDF file and load that then into e.g. Inkscape and export as SVG.

Thanks for replying.

I only ever had Inkscape, which I don't get one well with.

I'm afraid not.

Unfortunately Apple's purchase of Pixelmator made the forums redundant and now, we are but a dwindling few.
