Pixelmator rumors?

Wondering if there are any rumors on Apple's plan with Pixelmator? Looking for a Raw editor DAM solution specifically one that is easy to Batch process Raw files. (Timelapse)

Normally I use Affinity Photo in the past I've used Capture 1, On1, Nitro and DXO. Any thoughts on Pixelmator Pro's future or insights when Apple might release their plans?

I can't see Apple continuing Pixelmator as a standalone application. I suspect they will just takes elements of it and incorporate into Photos. Apple already tried their own solution (Aperture) and this died, which was a shame because at the time it was excellent.

The Photomator is what I think will be merged into Photos…Pixelmator Pro has more postproduction features. (Just my humble opinion..)
I use both very extensively…
