I think they both are the same minus the back pattern but both are TPU and look like same thickness. I prefer geometric's looks but hd looks cool too.

The Pixelskin looks too much like a tire track to me lol, Geometric is amazing :D I'm slightly worried about the glossy parts picking up finger prints but it's still amazing looking

I have a video processing now that I'll post when ready. It compares both the GeoMetric and PixelSkin HD.

I think the person above is thinking of the PixelSkin not the HD version because it does not look like a tire :)

Still looks like a tire to me lol. Maybe a motorcycle's tire lmao

Just received my Geometric. It's thin and I like the back design.

It's a keeper!

Some shots :)

I wish I would've picked the PixelHD instead of the Reveal  I just requested that Speck send me the Geometric case instead of waiting for the new Candyshell case :D

For anyone out here that has both the HD and the Geo....Which one offers better drop protection?

My Geometric arrived today. Speck agreed to send it because I didn't want to wait more weeks for my Candy Shell replacement. I got to pick anything that was in stock and I chose the Geometric. Speck actually sent it FedEx Overnight on their dime...which is extremely cool.

When I first pulled it out of the packaging I was honestly underwhelmed...then I put it on my iPhone....and I was hooked. The case just feels great. Just the right amount of slim, just the right amount of grip, doesn't seem to have the flash issue, enough rim that I can set it face down and looks pretty good.

Good stuff and fantastic service from Erik at Speck.

I'm hoping I receive mine 2morrow as well.

I hope Geometric is sufficient drop protection because this case has really grown on me after a day of using it. PixelSkin (not HD ,the silicone regular one) will probably protect it more but it's a pain to slip in and out of my pocket and bulks up the phone considerably. I like the argyle one I have too but I think that offers very little drop protection (it's like a super thin condom haha).

I think the shiny parts could scratch over time, but compared to CandyShell that is 100% shiny, the fear of scratches is moot for me.

I think the shiny parts on the geo are still TPU and not hard plastic so they probably wont scratch easily. Finger prints are another story...

I think you will find that the Geo shows less scratches because I doesn't have a single point of contact when you set it down on it's back. I personally am setting it down face-first for extra protection of the screen.
