Pixlemator (2.1.1) Healing Tool Problem

Good Day Everyone,

I just updated to OS X 10.8.2 on a 2011 iMac and at the same time updated Pixelmator to 2.1.1

Quote:

"What's New in Version 2.1.1
This update improves overall stability and performance, including the following:

• The all-new Healing Tool brings major performance and quality improvements"

In 2.1, the Healing Tool seemed to work perfectly. Now the results are terrible. Pixlemator is a great app that I want to keep using. I suppose I could roll-back to 2.1 using Time Machine but as someone new to the Mac, I'm hesitant to mess around with that.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's supposed to be patched, but it's been weeks now. Not a happy camper here either.
