Hey everyone

I'm having a very frustrating problem with a new Pixma Pro 100 printer and I'm not sure what else to try. Every time I try and print, I get an error 306 - communications error - and the printer stops responding. Sometimes this is in the middle of a job, wasting expensive paper and ink. I've searched the web and tried many solutions, including:

Reinstalling the driver
Repairing Permissions
Giving the printer a dedicated IP
Resetting the printer
Restarting the printer
Restarting the computer

I've tried most of these more than once. I'm not in a position to connect the printer via ethernet to the Airport, and connecting via USB everytime I want to print something would be a pain. (One of the major selling points was WiFi printing)

Has anyone else experienced this, and can you think of anything else I should try ?
