Just jailbroke my iPhone 4.2.1

Before doing so I backed it up using PKG BACKUP

Upon jailbreaking to 4.2.1 I installed Cydia
then PKG BACKUP

Problem is, despite there being a PKG BACKUP
file in my contact (address) list, the program
itself is not associating itself with it, this reporting
that no previous backup exists.

Anyone have any ideas how to do a restoration?

Okay, here I go answering my own question again.

Basically, I went into advance settings in PKG
BACKUP and told it to scan all files upon start.

At that point it found a previous backup in
my contact list and did a restore.

The only negative is that PKG BACKUP did
not restore everything in its right folder.
I got apps all over the map. I remember
in previous restores on previous jailbreaks
it restored everything perfectly.

Not the worst catastrophe. I'll just have
to spend a little time putting everything back.

PkgBackup did its job. It doesn't put apps into folders, that's what iTunes' restore from backup feature does.
