iPod touch Place your bets! When will the new ipod will be released!!??

I can't wait to get my hands on mine. I'm betting it'll get release week 2, after the iPhone rage dies down.

sorry for the downer guys, but I am guessing the new iPod Touch 5g will be coming out week 3 of October. the reason I believe this is because that is the same time that the new iTunes, or iTunes 11 will be released (at the keynote event several weeks ago, Apple mentioned that iTunes will be released in late October. Also the new update to iTunes 10 doesn't support the the new iPod Touch, only iPhone 5, new iPod nano, and the new iPod Shuffle....so this my 2 cents...what do you guys think?

Unfortunately, you are probably right. However, I'm hoping for the first week of October.

Would be smart to release it in Week 2 after the hype of iPhone 5, I agree. However I do think it might be Week 3. Seems like a long time though, since it was revealed at the same time as the iPhone 5!

Seriously, I picked Week 4 just so I won't get my hopes up. I've had my iPod Touch 3rd gen for three years, I can wait a whole extra month for a new one.

I chose Week 1, even though I know it's only a tiny chance this will be true, I really hope it is true though, the only reason I chose week one was because during the Keynote when the Calendar app was being Demoed, the Calendar was on October 1st, I know I should take that with a grain of salt but there might be a chance that, October 1st may be the release date for that reason.
