Hello Folks

I have a early 2011 macbook pro 15 inch, I ran out of space last year so I bought a samsung 240gb SSD and put it in the main bay and removed the old apple 120Gb SSD and put it in the place of the optical drive and installed windows 8.1 on it without bootcamp. Now I want to install Windows 10 on it, but since macbook 2011 doesn't support windows install form a Flash drive, I have to replace the optical drive and put the SSD in the main bay ...etc

I was wondering if its possible to put 120gb SSD on an other laptop and install windows and replace it in the mac?

Thanks in Adcance :)

I think you can but win 10 automatic activation will be only valid for that PC and you will have to buy a licence for activating it on your mac.
