placing Lines on Photos

HI I Only need to place some identifying lines on some Photos as in " see this line from A to B?

These are for a Power point lecture.

Why don't you just do it in PowerPoint itself? I believe you can just add the photo to the slide and then add a line on top of it.

I have tried that but there is no provision for a straight line only one that I use the mouse for ( mice never seem to run in straught lines ) <laugh>

compounding this I have to burn the lecture to disc and send it off.
