Planetbeing posted a unlock vid

I dont need an unlock since i'm on at&t anyway, but i must say THANK YOU for at least SAYING what's going on. At least we know a jailbreak is coming in the near future....
 
I can't blame them for not mentioning an expected drop date bc I hate having a deadline, too. And you've got to applaud the guys that spend so much of their time to benefit buttheads like me

But give me a timeline, something, jk/lol, I'm becoming envious of my buddy's EVO :mad:
 
That's dev-team for you. They're laid back like that. That's why I never understood why GeoHot acts the way he does. The only thing I can think of is that he has some kind of disorder.
 
He seems so cool, probably one of those guys you want to buy a drink for. :p
I thought it was funny that at the end of the video he says "have fun."

I liked that you could sense that he was excited and happy about what he'd done, too, not like, "If I feel you're worthy, perhaps someday I might bestow this upon you." He seemed psyched that it was getting closer to being releaseable. :)

Exactly. I'd much rather him than geohot release this...

He is keeping us up to date and even proving it works.

Wow huge respect for planetbeing. That is awesome news.

I'm surprised that you guys don't understand why Geohot acts like a little girl. He's pretty young. I think about 20? While planet and other Dev team members are older guys (25+ i think)

Yup - unfortunately he sure did burn a lot of bridges and act like a drama queen.... and put his face on crap. I posted in another thread about how Im not sure that if I had jb'd the first iPHone if I would be humble either... The internet is a tricky thing. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a complete tool, but I have hope that he will mature... or be quiet! :)
 
Glad to see that theres 3 possible ways (possibly? :D) to unlock it, I have an officially unlocked one anyway but hoping the Jailbreak will come within the next few weeks. Dev-Team never disappoints.
