Planning on buying a new MacBook Pro

I'm planning on buying a macpro sometime in Oct. My only question is, is apple planning on announcing a new line of pro's soon within this year and should i just wait to buy it.

No, Apple is waiting on Intel to release the Broadwell chipset. So we'll not see any new MacBook Pros this year.
