I am planning to buy a screen. I am willing to spend about 500$ on it. But I am mainly looking for good price / quality.
I ve been asking around in my social circle, and most people are fond of dells. I checked the site and found 2 interesting screens.

Now, as I dont know alot about screen specs, i m wondering why the full hd screen is cheaper than the one with 1680x1050 ?
I have also heard a lot of good things about samsung, since I don't want to narrow my search to one brand (I don't really care about the brand).
So, what will i be using this screen for ? Mainly for webdesign and a bit of print design. I am working on a macbook pro with a dvi connection.
I probably will not be using the stand, so that's not a real factor. I will have a distance of approx. 50cm to the screen (maybe a 24inch is to big ?).
On to my question: can anyone enlighten me, and give me some advice on wich screen to look at (be it one of the dells, or any other suggestion is more than welcome).
Oh and one more thing (
). What kind of device do I need to purchase to hang it up against a wall flat. (not with an arm)
