planning to sell current iphone 3g to purchase 3g S but.....

Ok i was planning to sell my iphone 3g in order to pay for the 3g s but i think i might run into a problem because things are a little more complicated than that. LOL

my line wont be eligable until mid july. i was planning on waiting to upgrade but no matter wat i would still need to sell my iphone 3g in order to pay for the 3gS

so here is my question if sell my iphone now will att or the apple store give me a problem with upgrading to the 3gs if i dont have my current phone with me or will i still be able to purchase it with no problems

They won't complain but if they give you a hard time tell them you threw your 3g off a cliff.
