Okay I have a 3GS on 3.12 with the old bootrom jailbroken and I never saved my SHSH on Saurik's server, but from what I found on the internet I can update/jailbreak to 3.13 and keep my 5.11.07 baseband using Sn0wbreeze 3.1.3 and then unlock it by downloading Blacksn0w RC2 Final from Cydia. Does this sound good or anyone use this exact method with success? I need to make sure it is unlocked before selling it, so I can get max profit/people wanting to buy it when I sell it.

It seems with are in luck since we have 5.11.07 baseband, but I'm not actually gonna do this until a couple days before the IPhone 4 is released so I just wanted confirmation. Also whats a good price to sell it for? I was thinking 400 - 450 since it's unlocked.
32gb black 3GS here too. I'm going to keep an eye on this thread too. I always sell mine before getting the new version. It's like people on craigslist pay me to upgrade to newest iPhone, lol.
Fallow some auctions on ebay. I am watching a used 32gb 3GS at $520 with 2 hours to go. It should easily hit $600 this is a better way to gauge prices imo. you might or might not get as much on craigslist but it's worth a try since it's free with no sellers fees.

As the market get saturated with 3GS phones for sale, you'll be lucky to get $350 for 16GB
Dont know about where you are from but on Craigslist here in Vegas they are going for much less than $450. Most are asking $350-$360. Thats for 32GB
Your better off using eBay if you want more money and thats hit and miss too but has better odds.
I bought a 16 GB 3GS for $200 today. The prices are dropping fast. Maybe they'll plateau after the 4G drops.
if it preserves your baseband go for it... not sure about snowbreeze but i know pwnagetool does... and if you have to update to 3.1.3 before snowbreeze then you'll lose the unlock

1. My ebay rating is a perfect 100% with 92 people leaving feedback. That shows I can be trusted and I don't sell junk.
2. Every phone I buy, I protect it with a screen protector and a Seidio case and holster which has kept my phone scratch free.

There is one thing your rating can't influence...the supply and demand situation.
I believe more users are pre-ordering the iPhone 4 than did the 3G and 3GS so more 2nd hand phones are glutting the market.
