If the 4G/HD arrives this month, and it looks anything like the leaked photos, there will be many new cases arriving.

What are you all thinking of doing when you get the new iPhone? Has the new design encouraged you to re-evaluate the need for a case?

It is all speculation at this point of course.

Seeing the two pics of the leaked and existing next to each other there doesn't seem to be a lot of differnce in size, I will be trying my existing rubber case to see if it fits first.

I use the Seidio spring clip holster and clear-coat skin for the 3GS. I am sure both companies will be producing these products as soon as they can.

I hope Speck makes a candyshell for the new generation iPhone, best case in opinion hands down!!

I will either go naked how it should be - I hate with a passion anything that would add weight or bulk my phone.

OR I might (and it's a big might) I may use a custom 'screen protector' on the back where that will absorb the scratches, I would only do this if the back is not a new ceramic anti scratch rumored material, this will not add bulk or weight to the phone so I would be happy.

and I would not use anything on the screen - the damn scratch magnets which start to peal off after 5 minutes use

I'm hoping an Incase Slider case is available for the 4G. I had mine on a 3G and 3GS and really liked them.

I'll see what comes out. I just want a slipcase for my pocket.

I sure as hell won't be using that hideous Apple bumper case though.

Phazer

Hope to see some better pictures of the bumper case. I can't tell if I like it or not. I don't like the idea of the glass screen being higher than the sides of the device. That is why I've always purchased incase sliders. If the bumpers are higher than the glass I might consider this case. I'd like to see what the white case looks like against the white phone, and the black case against the black phone.

the apple ones don't offer protection in the front/back and I think they are a bit overpriced. If the ideal case ones pictured a few months ago are legit I'd love the blue one.

I am going caseless. The old glass was fairly scratch resistant. The new one will be even more so.

I don't see any reason to put a case on this one.

In that case (no pun intended), you might as well get Invisible Shield or Ghost Armor.
