Plastic Bezel Help

Both my iPads have a small gap between the plastic bezel and the glass. Do others have this as well or do you have perfect bezels with no spaces? I've noticed that no display models at my apple store had perfect outside bezels. They all had little spaces or nicks

Help how? If others have it, does it make yours ok? If no one else has it, does it make yours defective? If it bothers you, take it back. Who cares who else has it or doesn't have it?

But if everyone has the issue, what will be the point of having the iPad replaced. I think the OP wants to check whether it worth getting the iPad swapped or they will just get one with a similar problem.

To the OP: My iPad has a slight gap between the glass and plastic just under the headphone plug. It's a very small gap so it doesn't really bother me though, I was considering getting it swapped with a different one but I realised resyncing all my data to a new iPad wasn't worth getting one without a small gap.

I had that issue.

Get it swapped ASAP.

RUN, don't walk to the nearest Applecare center.

Ok fair enough. OTOH, as mentioned in another thread, if every single iPad had gaps around the screen, "Gapgate" would be making headlines on all the blogs, if not the evening news.
