Play audio through headphone jack and speakers simultaneously

Is there a way to play audio through the headphone jack and speakers simultaneously on my MacBook?

Not the internal speakers. You'd need a y-cable for external speakers and head phones.

I was just curious. I've wanted to do it in the past, though I don't remember why. Thanks for the reply.
