play backwards

I'm editing a small presentatio movie and it features a closing door.
Now.. I need that door to open itself instead of closing.

In other words: how can I convert a movie to play backwards?


It's an avi file, which opens in quicktime.

I have never done this personally, but these people seemed to have luck with iMovie.

I've done this with iMovie. It's very easy. It's one of the effects. It just says reverse video or something like that. I used it to reverse a waterfall. It was pretty cool looking.
