SnowLeopard2008 macrumors 604 Jul 4, 2008 6,772 19 Silicon Valley Aug 1, 2010 #3 I use the dock connector to VGA adapter. For audio, a simple 3.5mm male to male cable does the trick. This works for newer televisions with a VGA port and 3.5mm audio in.
